The game requires a lot of concentration, mental stamina and physical fitness to some extent too. Tiger Woods seems to have the perfect lifestyle. A drop dead gorgeous Swedish supermodel wife, an enormous mansion, fame, money, on Forbes list of celebrities, an adorable daughter, close friends with Charles Barkley, thirteen major championships under his belt, and his very own video game. Tiger Woods 2008 is the next iteration in the fairly long series of Tiger Woods video games. If you are an avid fan of the Tiger Wood games, you will feel very much at home with the latest installment. Electronic Arts have been notorious for making arcade Tiger Woods golf video games to appeal to the casual gamers, but his year seems different. Unrealistic scores (like 50 under par) are virtually impossible to achieve this time around. The gameplay is similar to the previous games in that it keeps the player immersed in the golf course. One new feature is a revamped putting system which allows you to anticipate the line of trajectory that your golf ball will travel on the green. Even though it is not as useful as Tiger Vision, (which was introduced in Tiger Woods 2005) it still helps to line up the putt. There is a limit to how many times you can utilize this feature, so players should not expect to abuse other players with their putting. Your skill level and difficulty will determine how many times you can use the putt preview. Another element of the game that might turn a few players off is the golf swing mechanic. The analog sticks are no longer used to hit the golf ball; however, the buttons are used. This alteration may have been because of the lack of challenge with hitting the golf ball with the analog stick. The new way to make contact with the ball is to press the button three times (ala Madden kicking field goals). Once to start your swing, twice to start your downswing, and a third time for accuracy. If it seems too intricate, it really is fairly intuitive. Madden fans can easily make a smooth transition with this gameplay mechanic.Photo face is yet another new feature of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008. It gives gamers the opportunity to generate their own face and put it in the game. This feature appears to be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Electronics Arts has not corroborated a Photo face feature for the Nintendo Wii. Sorry Nintendo Wii owners. It sucks to be you; if you bought a Nintendo Wii, you do not have much of a live to begin with. The create a golfer aspect is back, and it has the usual things you would expect. You can create a golfer as skeleton-like as Nicole Richie, or as putrid as Rosie O’Donnell. It is all up to the gamer. All of the mini-games remain intact in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008. The visuals in the game are brilliant. Everything from the beautiful golf courses to Tiger Woods’ millions dollar smile will appease anyone. Shot Confidence is another original aspect of the game. In a nutshell, playing well gives you confidence. Playing poorly lowers your confidence. Many will be dissatisfied with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008, but other will be elated. Overall, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 is a solid improvement over Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007.

When I first got the Wii I thought the games that came with it were great. I am old enough to remember Pong. My uncle got the Odyssey for his kids, really him, for Christmas. We were all fascinated to watch a cursor move across the TV screen and move a paddle up and down to hit it. How far we have come.

On to the Wii. I love golf. The Wii golf game was great for a basic game and it did highlight how well the controllers worked to simulate a golf swing. But it is the basic game. You play on one course. You make up a basic Wii character and you play. My friends, family and I spent many hours competing playing golf and keeping track of the scores. My wife decided since I liked it so much she reserved a copy of Tiger Woods 09 All Play for Wii.

The game is a great golf game. I have not played Wii golf since. You start by creating your own character. You can basically create a character that looks very similar to your self. You buy your own clubs, tune your clubs, go to school on how to play with tutorials by Tiger Woods Golf Coach, and proceed to play your first game.

You can enter the Tiger Woods Challenge and play against professional golfers in different matches or go directly on tour and play your way through the amateur tour, get your PGA card and go on the pro tour.

There are many courses to play and you can increase the difficulty as you get better. It will take a long time to get through this game. You can also play as one of 26 different pro golfers if you’d like.

You dress yourself, pick animations for when you make a good shot or a bad one. You can slice and hook the ball, you can put spin on it, adjust the loft of your clubs, and also unlike Wii Golf you can chose any iron or wood in your bag, hit punch, lob and pitch shots. Switch between a chip, pitch or put if your close.

There are a few issues like how the putting scheme works and problems for left handed players however it’s worth the money. You can also connect to your friends systems through the internet and play together with all of your shots and characters on everyone’s screen.

There really is no comparison between the two however that’s to be expected since the Wii Golf comes with the system and Tiger Woods is all golf.

It is obvious that one of the keys to the perfect swing is body rotation and Tiger Woods does this better than anyone. With a little practice we can do it to.

Tiger Woods is ‘A lot more at peace now’

10.20.2010 – Tiger Woods, 34, and the current No.1 golfer in the world is in the mindset that he is much more relaxed and focused towards his golf game after finalizing his divorce with Elin Nordegren.

The American golf legend expressed his feelings in a recent interview in that he is simply at peace with all now, and wants to give his full to his eternal love of life… the game of golf.

Woods is hoping to participate next month in China at the HSBC Champions event, as he is about to lose his No.1 in the world golf ranking to Lee Westwood, which Woods has held strong for the past five years. The past year has been pretty tumultuous to say the least for Tiger Woods. From suffering a very public sex scandal, to numerous mistress allegations about him, to having a ‘love child’ with a porn star, to a major divorce settlement of 0 million, and most recently a sex tape – which has recently been proven a fake… it’s been a tough year for Tiger.

It’s no surprise Tiger Woods golf game has been drastically affected throughout the year, as he has not one an event to date. However, Woods did play well for team USA at the Ryder Cup a few weeks ago at Celtic Manor in Wales. Woods has been working harder than ever to improve his golf swing techniques and find his winning groove, which may very well happen this year… or early next.

During an interview with the press, Woods expressed his feelings that he is simply at peace, feeling perfect, and ready to focus his concentration towards his professional golf career. When commenting on his personal life, he touched on that he is getting used to his new living conditions, and is feeling much more comfortable than before. Woods also mentioned that his young children are also trying to adjust to the situation and that everyone seems happier now than before.
